A guy remained totally calm during the hold-up on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in the USA, at Behrmann's Tavern in Saint Louis.
The bar's surveillance video recorded this surreal scene before it was widely shared on the web; unfortunately, the audio is not available to us.
Even under the threat of a weapon pointed directly at his back, the very relaxed customer refused to give up his phone. Dustin Krueger, the bar manager, says that this anonymous customer told the robber, "I am not playing your game", and the robber, unsettled by this improbable reaction, moved on to something else.
After emptying the register and robbing the customer of a few dollars, the unmasked attacker fled.
Bravery, recklessness or a death wish: it is hard to know what was going through this man's mind as he faced this risky situation with no apparent fear.
