On June 27, 2018, in Paterson, New Jersey, police officer Ruben McAusland (27) pleaded guilty and was sentenced to only 66 months in prison for violently beating a civilian in a hospital, a man who had attempted suicide.
After this assault, the poor victim suffered multiple facial injuries, including an eye injury requiring surgery.
In addition to his prison term, Ruben McAusland must pay 32,800 dollars to the victim.
Moreover, this shameless crooked cop stole drugs from crime scenes for his own little business.
More information about Ruben McAusland's sentence
His partner Roger Then (29) was tried separately for covering up his partner's assault, and received only 6 months.

Personally, I think they are truly two monsters who make people suffer for pleasure, and I also question the psychological tests that allowed them to enter the police force.
