In this Boston Dynamics video, we can observe the improvements made to the Atlas robot, which is able to jump, twist and move with quite a lot of flexibility.
In 2019 Boston Dynamics acquired Kinema Systems, which helped improve this robot's 3D perception.
We are slowly moving toward robotics that gets a little closer to human movements every day. There is still work to do, but it is progressing :)
