Faithful to the other Terminator films (8/10)

Faithful to the first two Terminator films, these two hours of video, directed by Tim Miller, plunge us back into that post-apocalyptic atmosphere, with surprising and interesting characters, intense action scenes, in short, pure enjoyment.
Of course, the CGI and image work are superior to the previous installments, and the reconstruction of some scenes with younger actors is of very high quality.
However, there is still one detail that bothered me: without revealing too much of the story to avoid spoilers, I am disappointed by the storyline revolving around John Connor... I do not understand what they were trying to do. The writer justifies this choice as a way to highlight the new characters, but I feel it does not fit at all... That is only my opinion.
