Brace yourself: this sad and infuriating video shows the worst possible thing to do with garbage. It is hard to imagine a worse solution for the population than turning a river into a dump.
The breakdown of plastic and various other toxic elements will poison the river. Besides killing aquatic flora, the water will eventually be reused farther downstream and will in turn poison those who use it.
Agriculture, the population, and probably everyone will be poisoned by this stupid decision to throw garbage into the Amazon.
At the end of the video, the cameraman asks another guy how many times a day this happens, and the other answers: 3 or 4 times...
In short, the total absurdity of a society with blinders on...
