On September 20, 2026, shapewear brand YuMei East took to the Seine aboard a boat sailing through the heart of Paris to present its “Era of the East” fashion show. The event celebrated Eastern aesthetics and dialogue between cultures.

For this Paris stop, YuMei East, a brand of the Quzhuang group, chose a setting worthy of its ambitions: the deck of a boat gliding along the Seine, with some of the capital’s most iconic monuments in the background. Guests, professionals and figures from the fashion world gathered on board to discover the brand’s new creations.

The vision of founder Ms Wang Chunxia

On this occasion, Ms Wang Chunxia, founder of YuMei East, presented the brand’s vision as well as its ambitions for international development. Her remarks set the tone for an evening designed as a meeting between two sensibilities.

La Syrina, a public affairs and strategy consultant who trained as an engineer in France and is also active in the worlds of fashion and art, also spoke. She discussed intercultural dialogue, femininity and exchanges between Eastern and Western aesthetic sensibilities.

“Phoenix”, the new 2026 creation launched in Paris

The show featured several YuMei East shapewear collections and notably marked the international launch of the new 2026 creation named “Phoenix”.

Several sequences punctuated the presentation, combining:

modern interpretations of feminine elegance.
