For Father's Day, Jimmy Kimmel tricks dads
Information
Video published by Jimmy Kimmel Live
Jimmy Kimmel often makes this kind of video for events such as Halloween, Christmas, and this time Father's Day.
The idea is to find fathers and their children in the street, ask them simple questions about their offspring, and check whether they know the answers.
Unsurprisingly, fathers are not always able to answer, especially when it comes to birthdays, even though one of them had celebrated his daughter's birthday the day before.
One father even gets his daughter's eye color wrong...
By comparison, the mother who is also questioned knows everything perfectly: birth dates, names of friends, teachers, dentist, and so on.
We probably cannot generalize, but it must be admitted that, on average, mothers have a much better memory for this kind of information, especially birthdays.
Personally, as a man, I regularly forget dates related to my loved ones, while my wife knows hers perfectly, and also those of my parents, brothers and sisters.
Clearly, women have, on average, a better memory than men.
According to expert Lubomir Lamy (author), this inequality between men and women is simply a fact.
I suppose this must be scientifically recognized, so do not blame us, ladies :)
