Nvidia presents its new Nvidia Maxine AI SDK technology

Publié le 03 Mai 2026

Information

Video published by NVIDIA Developer

The principle of this technology is to identify a face, then transmit only the key points on the face and their movement in order to reduce bandwidth.

On the other side, the face is reconstructed through morphing to limit the amount of data transmitted during the video conference.

The final idea is to considerably reduce the bitrate used during a video conference, at the expense of the system resources of the processor that reconstructs the face and its movements.

Another advantage of this truly interesting technology is that the algorithm can convert a face that is turning its head slightly into a face looking straight into our eyes, as if the person were looking directly at the camera.
